As a Community-Based Preschool teacher for ACPS, Kimberly worked with preschoolers in public and private settings, and during home visits. What she enjoyed most as a teacher was having the opportunity to work not only with preschoolers but also with their classroom teachers and parents, also known as caregivers.
Quality Alexandria Daycare
“I don’t know how many people realize the importance of early childhood education, but one thing I know is that the early years of a child’s life are precious. What I will expose them to will have an affect on their future educational experiences. But I also believe that it continues to be a team effort. Parents are the first teacher, therefore, it is important to have an ongoing collaboration with parents.”

Tessa Bondurant
The word “daycare” doesn’t adequately describe what the Vine Preschool is to us and to our 19 month old son as it is so much more. We chose the Vine Preschool on the recommendation of a friend that had seen the way the school was run and was thoroughly impressed and passed on the information knowing we were in search of childcare. I’m thankful everyday for that recommendation!
